A QUICK HEADS UP: Chef Bill Taibe, of Stamford’s Napa & Co., will make an appearance today, Jan. 13, on The Martha Stewart Show at 11 a.m. on WNBC-TV.
Taibe places special importance on local ingredients at his restaurant, “I want to know where the food is coming from, that’s what I care about,” Taibe said. “Caloric intake, that’s for you and your doctor.”
Staying true to this philosophy, Taibe will prepare striped bass on the live show, noting that the fish is popular among sport fishermen in the Long Island Sound.
Personally, I don’t fish, but maybe I should take it up while I’m saving to be able to afford dinner at the restaurant.
